EXPERIENCE AND TALENT MATTER IN PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT.
As People Developers, we strive to bring out the best in others, developing in them enhanced values and beliefs. We become a subordinate’s talent manager and find opportunities for them to grow. We encourage them to hone their strengths, while helping them learn from failures and celebrate their successes. This is accomplished through four proven pillars that create better trust.
To know that someone has achieved something, they need to first understand what they should do. As a people developer, it is important to clearly define the goals you want your team to achieve.
Recognition is closely related to achievement. Without it, it is meaningless. Recognition is an expression or appreciation of others’ opinions and judgments.
People feel more motivated when they feel that they are involved in planning their goals, as opposed to being told. They should feel part of the overall group and company, not just their work.
It is important for people to feel that they have the potential to grow and that they are learning new skills and knowledge. The person will put in more effort if we help him or her to grow, allowing them to have a higher set of values.
